Dylan Lewis

Quantum computing researcher

Currently postdoc at Imperial. Formerly PhD at UCL, master's and undergrad at Oxford.

My research is in quantum computing and quantum information. I have worked on quantum spatial search algorithms using long-range interactions, quantum state transfer in spin chains and ion traps, quantum optimal control for multi-qubit gate design, and the limitations of quantum algorithms for nonlinear dynamics and fluid simulation. My main current research focus is new better ways of doing quantum optimal control.

Happy to chat about ideas related to any of these topics, see my projects page for what I've worked on. Email: dlewis3 at imperial dot ac dot uk

I will also write some observations, which might stray into politics – roughly a libertarian socialist perspective, dreaming of a peaceful, sustainable, green future.
